Eric Schrumpf serves as the Head of Equity Investments leading the team responsible for the acquisition of multifamily properties for Berkshire Residential Investments. He joined the company in 2012 to open the company’s San Francisco office.

Previously, Eric was a Vice President with Pacific Urban Residential (formerly Pacific Property Company), a Marcus and Millichap subsidiary company and one of the leading private multifamily investors in the Western U.S., where he was responsible for the company’s Northern California transaction activity of existing multifamily assets. During his eight-year tenure with Pacific, he was responsible for the acquisition and disposition of multifamily properties on behalf of the company’s own account and a stable of institutional investment partners.

Eric’s career began with J.P. Morgan in New York and includes more than fifteen years of dedicated multifamily investment experience, during which he has closed in excess of $2.0 billion in multifamily assets.

Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University and a Master of Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at U.C. Berkeley.
