Emily Jones currently serves as Vice President on the Investments team for Safehold. Ms. Jones is responsible for originating, underwriting and structuring ground lease investments across all major property types, with a focus on the U.S. Southeast markets. Her real estate investment background spans the entire capital structure and includes extensive credit underwriting, acquisition/disposition, portfolio management, and workout experience. Ms. Jones joined Safehold in 2022 following positions at Kawa Capital, a credit focused investment manager, and Starwood Property Trust, as a member of the CMBS investing and special servicing group. Ms. Jones received a B.S. degree in Economics from the University of Florida.
