Debra is responsible for providing real estate solutions to sponsors of multifamily and commercial real estate as well as lenders across the capital stack. She provides guidance and advice for owners and operators when structuring or restructuring their debt or during a sale/recap. Debra joined CohnReznick in 2022 and brings more than 25 years of industry experience at both privately held companies and servicing and banking institutions. In addition, Debra owns a small portfolio of affordable multifamily housing in Florida and Texas.

Debra began her career in asset management at J.E. Robert Companies and moved into banking and servicing with Beal Bank and C-III Asset Management (now known as Greystone) where she served on credit committees and ran large loan and bankrupt portfolios, overseeing the management and sale of over 20,000 multifamily units through receiverships. Debra also served two years as a co-chair for the CRE Finance High Yield, Distressed Realty Assets Forum, covering servicing and distressed real estate opportunities in the securitized debt industry. In 2016, she formed BlackEagle Real Estate Partners and began acquiring small unit, affordable communities in Florida and Texas with the goal of long-term ownership and encouraging female investing.
