David Redfern

David is the President of Consolidated Holdings and WaterWalk Apartments International Development. This is the 4th national brand David has been a member of the starting team.

His 3rd National Brand was Value Place where he is still involved as a franchisee. David Redfern served as President of Value Place Development Company LLC. David was the President of both the Value Place Development and Management Company for over ten years.

David was part of the team of executives who developed the Value Place brand from its inception. David was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Candlewood Hotel Company. Redfern helped the company grow from one Candlewood Suites in 1996 to 125 hotels in 2003. At Candlewood, Redfern was responsible for hotel revenues, local and national sales, sales management, revenue channels, brand marketing, site feasibility, and sales training.

Prior to Candlewood, Redfern was National Sales Director for the Summerfield Suites hotel chain, where he started his career as director of sales in 1990 as the first hotels were launched. He also served as a sales manager for the Residence Inn by Marriott for the LaJolla, California market from 1988 to 1990.

He has also been extensively involved with the nonprofit sector in his community as a Board Member for Habitat for Humanity, YoungLife, YMCA and several other organizations. In addition, David is a current board member of the DeBoer Family Foundation, Inc.

David holds undergraduate degrees in Business Administration, and Architecture and Urban Design from the University of Kansas. He also graduated as a Linder C. Hobbs Entrepreneur Fellow at the University of California-Irvine MBA program. David and his wife, Jing, have three children.
