David Metalonis is the Chief Executive Officer and Partner of Lionheart Capital. At Lionheart Capital, David oversees acquisitions, dispositions, procurement of debt and equity financing and spearheads new investment initiatives for the firm.

Prior to joining Lionheart, David was a perennial top producer and Partner in the South Florida offices of Colliers International and later participated in the successful sale of the company to Avison & Young.

An entrepreneurial-minded real estate executive, David possesses over a decade of successful real estate practice and has been recognized by the South Florida Business Journal as one of the Top 40 Business Professionals under the age of 40.

Lionheart Capital is a Miami-based global real estate investment and development firm whose principals have been involved with the successful acquisition, development, repositioning and disposition of real estate assets totaling over $4 Billion in the United States, Brazil, China and the Caribbean.

As active value-creators, Lionheart’s principals have successfully transacted in all asset classes including office, industrial, retail, hospitality, ultra-luxury residential, entitlement, and complex land use rezoning.

Notable projects include the Ritz-Carlton Residences Miami Beach, the Ritz-Carlton Residences Palm Beach, the Mutiny and Sonesta in Coconut Grove, the Meridian Lofts on Miami Beach, Le Sereno in St. Barths, and the Six Senses Resort in Nicaragua.
