Dan is a Corporate Real Estate head with extensive experience in negotiating leases and other real estate transactions and development and execution of real estate strategies. His experience encompasses both occupier and investment real estate.

As the head of Global Real Estate at CIT Bank, Dan and his team have had responsibility for strategic real estate planning and workplace strategy, transactions management, and portfolio management for CIT locations worldwide. This includes participation in business unit acquisitions and dispositions and integration. He received special chairwoman recognitions for creation of ‘Bank of the Future’ branch prototypes and for successful post merger business integration.

At BNY Mellon’s Urdang Capital business unit and The Rubenstein Company Dan drove the performance of over $1 billion of commercial real estate investments as he executed turn around strategies resulting in annualized returns exceeding 12% for most properties.

Mr. Fishbein headed the Real Estate, Facilities, and Security functions at The Vanguard Group, in Valley Forge, PA. as the company achieved a six fold increase in size and transitioned into a newly constructed corporate campus. He began his career at Boston’s Economic Development Industrial Corporation rising to the position of Director, Real Estate and Planning. Projects included the redevelopment and lease up of two military bases and industrial developments in Boston’s Southwest Corridor.

Having received a Master of City Planning degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Dan has been a member of the Zell Lurie Real Estate Center. He received his BA from Boston University. Dan chaired the New York City and Philadelphia Chapters and currently serves as senior advisor to the New York City Board and member of the New York Executive Leaders Council.

As co-chair of fourteen Eastern Regional Symposiums, Dan led content development and speaker selection for each two-day Symposium. Dan has spoken at and moderated real estate industry programs in multiple venues including the University of Pennsylvania.
