Dan Hollander has over 25 years of experience in the acquisition and development of residential, commercial and mixed-use properties in urban areas. He has developed over 1,500 units of luxury high-rise residential properties with an estimated market value of over $2 billion. He also has substantial experience in the development of affordable and government-assisted housing. Prior to founding DHA, Mr. Hollander was Senior Managing Director of The Clarett Group, where he acquired and developed multiple luxury high rise buildings in Manhatttan and Brooklyn. He began his career with the Chicago Housing Authority, where he helped create a precursor to the federal HOPE VI program. He is a summa cum laude graduate of Columbia University.
