Charlie Foushee leads the Seattle region of Skanska USA Commercial Development, which delivers customer-focused, highly sustainable office, mixed-use, and multi-family properties across the United States.

His experience in the real estate development industry spans over 15 years, with emphasis on asset acquisition, development, and construction, of residential, retail, and mixed-use office projects. Since joining Skanska in 2016, Charlie has been an integral player and thought leader in delivering customer-focused, word-class, community-driven projects. Most recently serving as Vice President of Development for the Seattle market, Charlie’s innovative spirit and entrepreneurial approach have supported Skanska’s most notable large-scale projects. This includes the 2+U project in Seattle, a 38-story LEED Platinum office building with arts-and-culture, retail space, as well as the asset management and divestment of Alley111 and 400 Fairview.  Most recently, Charlie led the development of The Eight, Skanska’s new 25-story, 540,000-square-foot Class A office tower in downtown Bellevue that will be the company’s largest single investment globally to date when completed.

Prior to joining Skanska, Charlie was a Manager for Talon Private Capital where he oversaw the project redevelopment operations of high-quality office assets for major institutional investors totaling over 1.2 million rentable square feet. His signature commodious projects included predevelopment for Kirkland Urban and redevelopment of both Bellefield Office Park and Gateway I.

Charlie is a Seattle University graduate with a degree in International Business. He currently serves on the advisory board for Bainbridge Island Little League, the board of Helpline House, and is a board member for Downtown Bellevue Association.
