His writing has been published by magazines such as PM Engineer and Plumbing and Mechanical, and he has been a guest speaker for multiple American Society of Plumbing Engineer chapters, the University of Florida, the New England Waterworks Association, and the New York Rural Water Association. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Pennsylvania, and was into baking sourdough bread before it was cool.
