Bryan Shimeall has worked in several capacities in the real estate industry over his 25+ year career and for the last 11 years he has served as Vice President for Tanner, Ballew and Maloof, A BRP Agency, which is one of the most active providers of multifamily insurance services in the industry. Prior to his career in the insurance industry, Bryan owned a single-family real estate development company for over a decade in Central Florida but in the mid 2000’s he sold his company and transitioned into the commercial real estate insurance industry to help other entrepreneurs such as himself navigate the challenges and risks that entrepreneurs face. His experience in managing real estate risk affords him unique insight into how his client’s view risk and how best to navigate difficult markets. With over 150k multifamily units currently insured for properties across the country and owners around the globe, he has experience with hard and soft insurance markets as well as catastrophically exposed properties. Bryan’s experience is augmented by a platform of services specifically designed to support the multifamily owner, developer, or manager and, as an Accredited Advisor of Insurance (AAI), he is regularly featured on multiple industry podcasts discussing market conditions and strategies for controlling the cost of risk for habitational properties.
