Bryan Barrett
Chief Executive Officer
Barrett & Stokely

As CEO of Barrett & Stokely, Bryan is responsible for setting the overall strategic vision for the company. Accordingly, he is accountable for making sure that strategy is executed. This is best accomplished when all Barrett &Stokely employees have a clear understanding of the vision and their direct impact on it. Bryan is responsible for making sure the best leadership team is in place, and interests are properly aligned with company goals.

Prior to becoming CEO, Bryan spent 10 years as the VP of Acquisitions/Development where he was responsible for the strategic growth of Barrett & Stokely. Throughout the 2010s, Bryan focused on sourcing/executing unique investment opportunities in the multi-family housing space. Additionally, Bryan created a development platform that allowed Barrett & Stokely to continue to grow using a select-site, opportunistic approach.

Prior to joining Barrett & Stokely, Bryan worked in multi-family investment sales as a broker for Tikijian Associates (Cushman & Wakefield). In this role, Bryan led and/or assisted on transaction volume in excess of $1B.

Bryan started his career in 2003 working as an analyst in the Chicago Real Estate Investment office of Northwestern Mutual. In this role, he was responsible for underwriting both debt and equity placement opportunities for all classes of Investment Grade Real Estate.

Bryan received a BS in Finance/Real Estate from The Kelley School of Business in 2003. Bryan is the proud father of 3 kids and currently spends most all of his free time with his family. He enjoys coaching their sports teams, spending time at the lake, and anything in which his kids are interested. Bryan’s wife, Jackie, is the true ALL-STAR, and is the one who deserves all the credit.

Beyond business and family, Bryan has a passion for education. In particular, providing opportunities for academically promising students facing unearned adversity. This led him to Starfish Initiative (a local Indianapolis non-profit) where he has served as a mentor since 2018. Most recently, Bryan led Barrett & Stokely to form a corporate partnership with Providence Cristo Rey High School, whereby two students will spend one day/week in the Barrett &Stokely corporate office.
