Mr. Glomb is the Managing Director of Investments at Magnolia Capital, a nationally focused real estate investor based in Chicago. An entrepreneurial force in real estate acquisitions and strategy, Mr. Glomb boasts a rich history spanning over 20 years in the multi-family and commercial real estate investment sector. His journey at Equus Capital Partners, Ltd., a prominent real estate investment manager, saw him rise through the ranks, culminating in his role as Senior Vice President for the Central Region – Acquisitions & Asset Management.
In this capacity, covering territories such as Arizona, Colorado, Texas and the Midwest, Mr. Glomb exhibited a keen ability to identify and seize real estate investment opportunities. His strategic prowess was evident in the acquisition of over 6 million square feet of commercial assets and nearly 2,000 multi-family units with an aggregate purchase value in excess of $1 billion. Throughout his career, Mr. Glomb’s leadership played a pivotal role in steering the acquisition and asset management team at Equus. His tactical impact extended to detailed renovation plans, marketing and leasing strategies, and navigating asset management responsibilities during challenging economic climates. Mr. Glomb’s commitment to a hands-on investment philosophy ensured comprehensive involvement from deal inception to execution.
Mr. Glomb holds a Master of Science in Business from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, focusing on Real Estate and Urban Land Economics. His Bachelor of Science from DePaul University, Chicago, with dual majors in Finance and Marketing, laid the foundation for his multifaceted success. Additionally, Mr. Glomb holds a real estate broker license in Illinois and is an active member of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association. In his spare time, he is an avid snow skier and has participated in multiple Ironman races.
