Current Responsibilities – Bob Rathmanner serves as Director of Construction Management for CARROLL. In his role, he is responsible for the implementation and execution of planned and unplanned capital improvements to the communities across the portfolio. Bob directs the production activities of 7 project managers, 2 compliance managers, and 2 licensed architects, to execute the capital improvements to the portfolio. He works with senior leadership on the development of strategies and core practices and policies to ensure timely and accurate execution of the executive committee’s visions for each community.

Relevant Experience – Bob has managed operations and capital improvements for nationwide hospitality chains and publicly traded REITs since 1991 with a wide variety of interior and exterior capital improvements. Prior to joining CARROLL, Bob was employed by Hyatt Hotels from the Florida Keys to Denver Colorado overseeing engineering services. Bob then moved to multi-family portfolio maintenance/capital improvement management with AIMCO and Equity Residential, prior to starting his own CIRA management company in 2008. After successfully building his management company for 7 years, Bob sold the business in 2015, stayed with the buyers for 2 years, then left to join CARROLL in his true love, the multi-family apartment industry.

Education/Affiliations – Bob graduated Valedictorian from the Preparatory School of Boca Raton in Florida and immediately entered the workforce with a tenacious drive and work ethic that propelled him into management positions within several industries, and really found his home in multi-family construction management. Bob is a member of the Christ Fellowship Church in Palm Beach Gardens Florida and appreciates the opportunities it provides to volunteer within the Church and the community at large.

Interests – Bob enjoys relaxing days at the beach with family and friends, golfing, boating and fishing as often as he possibly can.
