Blanton Smith is the Director of Asset Management at Blackfin Real Estate Investors, LLC. Ms. Smith is responsible for overseeing the asset management and investment strategy for Blackfin’s portfolio.

Prior to joining Blackfin, Ms. Smith was an Asset Manager at The Bozzuto Group, a privately owned real estate company based in the DC Metro area. Ms. Smith was responsible for overseeing the operations and asset strategy for a portfolio of over 7,000 units. In addition, Ms. Smith successfully oversaw the portfolio operations, interior/exterior capital projects, annual budget process, capital events and transactions, and investor communications. Prior to Bozzuto, Ms. Smith was an Asset Manager at Walker & Dunlop.

Ms. Smith earned a bachelor’s degree from Denison University and a Master’s in real estate from Georgetown University. Ms. Smith is an active member of the Urban Land Institute as well as a co-founder of B.R.E.W, a networking group of women in real estate.
