William Sully is Executive Managing Director of Acquisitions and Development at Silverback Development. Prior to Silverback, Bill was the Managing Director of US Acquisitions for Asia Pacific Land (“APL”), a $5 billion fund based in Asia, where he was responsible for sourcing, evaluating and negotiating equity and debt investments in the US. Before APL, Bill pursued development projects independently, which included closing a $155 million project in partnership with the Patrinely Group and USAA Real Estate Company. From 2005 through 2010, Bill served as a Managing Director at Cerberus Real Estate Capital Management. He also served as in-house developer for five major redevelopment projects within a multi-billion dollar portfolio. Prior to Cerberus, he was a partner at Apollo Real Estate Advisors, where he was responsible for sourcing and negotiating investment opportunities for a series of institutional equity funds sponsored by the firm.

Bill is a graduate of Dartmouth College and received a Master’s in Business Administration in real estate finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1988.
