Ben Collins, joined Crescent Communities in 2010 and currently serves as Senior Managing Director for the West region (Tennessee, Texas, Colorado and Arizona.) Ben has over 15 years of real estate development experience and has been responsible for the development of over 7,000 multifamily units throughout the Southeast totaling over $1.3 billion.

Prior to Crescent Communities, Collins was responsible for leading a regional multifamily office for Colonial Properties Trust (NYSE: CLP) and has served in development and acquisition roles for Grubb Properties and The Community Builders.

Ben serves in multiple leadership roles including serving as Board member for: Apartment Association of North Carolina, National Multi Housing Council, Greater Charlotte Apartment Association (Vice-President) and Mosaic Development Group (Executive Committee). Ben earned a graduate degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison Real Estate program and also has an MBA from the University of North Carolina, Charlotte.
