Ben Brosseau is the Founder and CEO of Banyan Residential, a privately held real estate company that is currently developing ~$1.9B of apartment and single-family rental projects in Sunbelt markets across Texas, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and North Carolina. Ben has more than 18 years of experience in the multifamily real estate business and has been responsible for the development and acquisition of more than 8,500 housing units valued at more than $3.5 billion.

Prior to founding Banyan in 2018, Ben served as a Vice President at Camden Property Trust (NYSE: CPT), a leader in high-end multifamily development and property management. Ben also served previously as a partner at Phoenix Property Company, where he was involved in the development of student housing projects in California. Prior to working in real estate, Ben was employed by JP Morgan Chase in Chicago and New York, where he graduated from a rotational finance program.

Ben holds a Master’s Degree in Real Estate from the University of San Diego and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and in History from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Ben is a member of the National Multi Housing Council (NMHC) and a member of the Bronze Multifamily Council of the Urban Land Institute (ULI). Ben lives in Los Angeles with his wife Kathleen and their two children.
