Bart French joined MAA in 2016 and serves as Senior Vice President where he is responsible for all development activities in the company’s western markets. Prior to MAA, Mr. French spent eleven years with Post Properties and covered the Texas, Florida and Colorado markets. Over the course of his career he has developed over 6,000 apartment units and 100,000sf of retail/commercial space as a component of various mixed-use communities. Prior to his career in real estate development, Mr. French spent eight years with Perot Systems Corporation as a member of their mergers and acquisitions group. Mr. French holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Baylor University.
