Barbara J. Gaffen is Co-CEO of Prime Property Investors, Ltd a Northbrook, IL based real estate investment and development firm. The firm focus on real estate investment property specializes in student housing projects at major university campuses, conventional Apartment Complexes, and Healthcare real estate nationwide. Gaffen’s firm, Prime Property Investors, Ltd. has been recognized by Inc. Magazine for inclusion on the Inc. 500 list of the fastest growing private companies in America. Additionally, Real Estate Forum Magazine ranked Prime the number 1 fastest growing Mid-Sized Firms in real estate.

Gaffen, a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker, serves on many industry and community committees.

Barbara maintains membership in the National Association of Realtors and National Apartment Association and has published numerous articles, and appeared on local television and radio shows.

Gaffen was instrumental in the establishment and continued funding of the Neurobehavioral Center serving special need children at the Skokie campus of Rush North Shore Hospital. Barbara currently serves on the board of North Shore Auxiliary of JCFS as well as Jewish Children and Family Services and remains active in several local philanthropic organizations.

A graduate, with distinction, of Indiana University with a major in finance, Barbara Gaffen holds a law degree from Loyola University School of Law.
