Artem Tepler – Born in Siberia, Mr. Tepler immigrated to the United States at the age of nine. In 2004, prior to graduating from Rutgers Business School with a Bachelor of Science in Finance, he formed a real estate investment firm that specialized in the acquisition and rehabilitation of distressed residential real estate in New Jersey and Florida. After successfully running his company for a number of years, he decided to upgrade his skills by going back to school and earning a Master’s in Real Estate, with a concentration in Development from New York University. In 2009, upon graduation, he relocated to Los Angeles, “strictly for the weather” and partnered with Paul Schon to form Schon Tepler Partners. STP was created to capitalize on the unprecedented opportunities in distressed residential real estate during the “Great Recession.” Their company evolved into a full service, vertically integrated, multi-family real estate development firm. Since his first purchase of a single-family house as an investment for $300k at the age of 23, Mr. Tepler has been involved as a principal in the development/ redevelopment of more than $400m of real estate. Artem is a licensed California General Contractor and oversees all construction activities for Schon Tepler projects. Artem is also a licensed California Real Estate Broker and is involved with the Real Estate and Construction division of the Jewish Federation of Los Angeles and the Real Estate division of AIPAC – Los Angeles.
