Anthony is a creative and collaborative investor and developer. He believes success in development comes from well-structured teams and strong partnerships. Anthony manages all aspects of Mavrek’s development process, from sourcing and closing new acquisitions and developments through disposition. Additionally, Anthony focuses on expanding the firm’s capital and institutional relationships. Anthony works diligently to guide the company’s successful growth.
Prior to joining Mavrek, Anthony spent seven years at Sterling Bay where he led the execution of over $1 billion worth of the ground up development in Chicago, Miami, Atlanta and San Diego. Noteworthy developments included McDonald’s Global Headquarters in Chicago and Sterling Bay’s first out of market development, 545 Wynwood, in Miami. Anthony worked closely with Sterling Bay’s capital partners to plan and entitle over 3.5 million square feet of office, residential and hotel developments, including more than 600 residential units and 480 hotel keys across the U.S. Anthony started his career at Solomon Cordwell Buenz designing large scale multi-family developments. Anthony received his BS and Masters in Architecture from University of Michigan and his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
