Allina Boohoff,CFA, CPA, managing director, JPMorgan Asset Management – Real Estate Americas, is the co-head of the Southeast investment team, a territory that spans from Mid-Atlantic to Florida and was previously the head of asset management’s Multifamily Sector. An employee since 2003, she is responsible for co-heading a $12 billion portfolio of office, industrial, retail and multifamily investments in the region. Previously, she was leading the asset management efforts for the group’s multifamily portfolio in the U.S., a 50,000 unit, 190-property portfolio valued at $14 billion. During her tenure as the head of multifamily portfolio, she was involved in over 60 ground up development projects, including 11 projects in Metro DC area, building over 20,000 units nationally.

Allina has 20 years of real estate experience and was previously the financial controller for the multi-family portfolio and a financial controller for the Alternative Property Fund and transferred to asset management in 2006. Prior to joining the firm, Allina worked for Ernst & Young LLP, where she was a senior accountant in the Real Estate Group. Allina holds a B.S. in finance and economics from the Stern School of Business at New York University, an M.S. in accounting from Mendoza School of Business at University of Notre Dame and is also a CPA. She is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts and is a holder of the CFA designation. She also serves on the board of National Multi Housing Council and is a vice-chair of ULI’s bronze multifamily council.
