Adam is the co-Portfolio Manager of the MSD Real Estate Credit Opportunity Fund and a Managing Director of MSD Partners, L.P. MSD Partners, L.P., an SEC-registered investment adviser, was formed in 2009 by the partners of MSD Capital, L.P. which was established in 1998 to exclusively manage the assets of Michael S. Dell and his family. In total, the firms manage assets in excess of $17 billion.

Adam originally joined MSD in 2007 as a member of the Private Equity Group and rejoined MSD in 2011 as a member of the Credit Opportunity Group after attending business school at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Previously, Adam worked at Goldman Sachs & Co. where he focused on private equity and other direct investments in the global energy sector. Adam began his career in investment banking at Citigroup and received a B.S.E. in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering and economics from Duke University.

Adam currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors Independence Contract Drilling, Inc. and previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of Noble Environmental Power LLC, DavCo Restaurants LLC and QCE Finance LLC (d/b/a Quiznos Corp.).
