David Sturner leads the New York office and is responsible for overseeing construction and property management in the Tri-State area. Mr. Sturner previously served as the president and chief executive officer of MHP Real Estate Services, where he supervised all business functions of the firm including its brokerage division consisting of more than 35 sales and leasing professionals. During his tenure at MHP, he was largely responsible for the development and rapid growth of MHP’s services including the formation of its brokerage, project and asset management departments. As chief executive officer, he oversaw operations for the company’s commercial real estate portfolio consisting of more than 5 million square feet. Having started off in construction management at Structure Tone, a top 20 general construction firm and the largest interior building contractor in the US, Mr. Sturner brings more than thirty years of experience to Banyan. He is a court-appointed receiver for the City of New York and an active member of the Real Estate Board of New York.
