As CEO of Grubb Properties, Mr. Grubb oversees all aspects of Grubb Properties vertically integrated real estate business founded in 1963. Today our primary focus is on the Essential Housing asset class through our U.S. national Link Apartments® brand, with corporate offices in Atlanta, Charlotte, Cary, Winston-Salem and Culver City.
Since 2002, when Mr. Grubb became the CEO of Grubb Properties, the company has grown to be a top quartile producer of returns for its portfolio of real estate investment funds. His primary focus is leading the long-term, strategic vision and playing an active role in all the company’s investment decisions. Mr. Grubb has successfully transformed Grubb Properties from a family-owned business to an employee and board-owned company that is regularly profiled in the local and national media.
Mr. Grubb is an adjunct professor of real estate at Tulane University where he also received his Bachelor of Science and his Juris Doctorate in law from The University of North Carolina School of Law.
In 2020, Mr. Grubb authored “Creating the Urban Dream,” published by Forbes Books. This work outlines strategies to combat the affordable housing crisis, offering a clear path for developers and home-buyers to create and live in communities they can both love and afford.
