Gerardo Lopez-Corona joined Crescent Communities in 2025 as Managing Director of Florida, bringing more than 15 years of experience in multifamily and mixed-use development. In his role, Gerardo leads the company’s South Florida platform, guiding every stage of the development process—from identifying and acquiring sites to securing entitlements, structuring capitalization, overseeing design, and delivering exceptional communities that create lasting value.

Before joining Crescent Communities, Gerardo served as Vice President at The Altman Companies, where he successfully led multiple high-profile acquisitions projects across Florida. His portfolio spans luxury, market-rate, and mixed-use developments in Miami, Palm Beach, Tampa, and Orlando, representing ~ $1.5 billion in total project capitalization.

Known for his collaborative approach and deep market expertise, Gerardo is committed to creating communities that not only meet the needs of today’s residents but also enhance the neighborhoods they serve and other people’s lives. He is also a ULI and NMHC member.
