Maria Consuelo Sanchez Rueda

As Vice President of Development for the Richman Group Development Corporation, Maria oversees and coordinates various planning, design, and engineering aspects of Market Rate, Mix Income, and affordable Housing development across the United States. Since 2012, Maria has successfully led 83 projects (encompassing the development of 15,551 units) across multiple stages of development. As of 2022, 29 of these projects (6,149 units) have been successfully completed, 15 projects (3,125 units) are under construction, 21 projects (4,447 units) are in preconstruction, and 18 projects (1,991 units) are in the preapplication phase.

Prior to working with The Richman Group, Maria served as the Principal of Solaris Habitat (a Division of Solaris Latina INC.) While in this role, Maria worked with multiple small business in South Florida, offering consulting services on project design, planning, project management, and public relations.

Maria also has extensive public service experience, working as a city Planner for the town of Davie FL, where she led a Transit Oriented Regional Activity Center Master Plan, and Form Base Development Code adoption and implementation. Maria also led the review and processed a variety of entitlement applications for the city.
