Al Gogolin is the Executive Vice President – Project Execution at The Procopio Companies. Gogolin brings over 25 years of extensive experience in the design, construction, and real estate sectors.

Prior to joining Procopio, Gogolin held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Synergy, a Boston-based private equity real estate firm with over 7 million square feet of owned and managed office and residential space. While at Synergy, Al was responsible for operational oversight of the firm’s Construction, Property Management, Building Engineering, Property Accounting, HR, and administrative functions.

Before his tenure at Synergy, Al was Senior Vice President at Skanska USA for 14 years, where he successfully oversaw complex construction operations along the East Coast. His experience included, large-scale high-rise office and multifamily developments as well as work for numerous Fortune 500 listed companies and major higher education institutions.

He is recognized as a dedicated industry leader and community advocate, having served on several industry related boards in the past, such as A Better City, and the Downtown Boston Alliance and currently serves on the board of YouthBuild Boston. Through these roles, he has leveraged his expertise to drive workforce development and urban innovation initiatives.

Gogolin holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he was also a pitcher on the baseball team. He is a registered Professional Engineer, a licensed General Contractor, and a LEED-accredited professional.
