Melody specializes in overseeing properties that are renovating and repositioning. Prior to joining BH in 2013, she had nearly 20 years of experience in property management, the most recent being at Westwood Residential, where she specialized in managing a diverse portfolio of value-add, lease-up and stabilized assets. Before her promotion to Chief Operating Officer, Property Operations, she was a Vice President of Property Operations, Senior Regional VP and Regional VP for the Southwest Region, as well as an Area Vice President for a large portfolio spanning North Central Texas, West Texas and Louisiana. In 2020, she held the role of Room to Grow Ambassador for the Texas Apartment Association Education Foundation.
