With 30+ years of experience developing Class A and Class AA apartments, Richard Munger’s expertise centers on designing multifamily destinations that elevate the culture and fabric of the surrounding neighborhood. As Partner for Toro Development Company, Munger is responsible for bringing exceptional residential living experiences and multifamily communities to life.

Munger most recently served as Vice President of Development for Fairfield Residential overseeing the development activities in the southeast. Prior to that, he served as Partner and Senior Vice President of Residential Development for North American Properties Atlanta (NAPA). While at NAPA, he managed the Atlanta office’s multifamily business line spearheading notable award-winning projects including Edge OTB, Anthem on Ashley, Haven and Veranda at Avalon, The Hill and Emblem. All told, Munger’s total multifamily construction and development activities account for approximately 15,000 units with a value over $4.5B.

Through his career, he has been active with the Atlanta Apartment Association, Georgia Apartment Association, served on the Board of Directors of the Historic Old Fourth Ward Park Conservancy, and a member of numerous committees for the City of Sandy Springs. Munger graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science degree. He later earned an EMBA from Georgia State University, his Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) certification, and holds a Georgia Real Estate License, along with a Florida General Contractor’s License.
