Josh Friedmann is an experienced land use attorney at Hillis Clark Martin & Peterson P.S., where he supports a range of mixed-use developments and public-private partnerships throughout the Puget Sound region. He helps clients confidently navigate municipal permitting processes as well as Washington’s State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA), Shoreline Management Act (SMA), Growth Management Act (GMA) and other complex regulatory landscapes. In addition to his project work, Josh has successfully drafted and helped enact a range of state and municipal bills on environmental and housing matters. Before law school, Josh served as a legislative aide to the White House’s Council on Environmental Quality under President Obama. He graduated from Tufts University and Harvard Law School.
