Patrick Heffernan is a Portfolio Manager leading the BBH Real Estate Platform. In this role, he oversees all aspects of private real estate investing on behalf of the firm’s clients. He is also a member of the BBH Real Estate Investment Committee and an officer of the General Partner for the BBH Real Estate Funds.

Prior to joining the firm, Pat worked at Admiral Capital Group, a real estate private equity firm in partnership with USAA Real Estate Company, where he headed East Coast acquisition and asset management activities. Previously, he was employed by MPC Properties (a subsidiary of Bank of America/Merrill Lynch’s Global Principal Investments group), where he focused on acquisitions and portfolio oversight in Europe. He started his career at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. in its investment banking division, initially in New York and subsequently in London.

Pat received a B.S. in finance from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College and an MBA from Duke University.
