With 35 years of experience, Bob is widely recognized for combining a high-touch customer service approach, a deep technical expertise and a unique ability to bring the best resources to his clients. Bob and his team successfully design unique risk transfer programs and risk financing structures, including alternative risk solutions such as captives and integrated programs for public and private entities.

Prior to joining Brown & Brown in 2005, Bob was an operating principal at Lane & Associates in Atlanta, Georgia, where he spent 16 years leading sales and operations. He began his career with Commercial Union (now Aviva Ltd., a London-based insurer), specializing in claims and underwriting for property and casualty coverages.

A graduate of Georgia Tech, Bob holds a Bachelor of Science in Management, as well as his Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI®) designation from The Institutes.
