Doug is responsible for the formulation and execution of Avenida Partners’ strategic growth and operating plans for the southeast markets. Doug brings over 25 years of leadership and management expertise in business development, operations, marketing, acquisitions, financial modeling, investor presentation and due diligence. Capitalizing on his experience in senior housing property types, Doug will maximize market opportunities in every phase of development projects, including site selection, cost analysis, design development and project management.

Prior to joining Avenida, Doug crossed the spectrum of senior housing from operations, sales and acquisitions with Senior Star, Fortress Investment Group, Holiday Retirement and was a founding partner in Titan SenQuest, a start-up commercial real estate venture concentrating on Independent Living and Assisted Living segments. His focus was on an enterprise-wide growth strategy of acquisitions, performance improvement and relationship management with investors, and shareholders. Prior to senior housing, Doug worked in various leadership roles at Ernst & Young, Caterpillar and FedEx.

Doug earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis on marketing and logistics from The Ohio State University.
