As the Senior Vice President, Development at Focus, Justin leads all of the company’s real estate development activities including identifying opportunities and initial deal efforts. He secures financing for projects and communicates with partners, investors, and clients. Justin is ultimately responsible for overseeing all properties in various stages of development from the initial deal structure through operation and sale. Justin has also assembled a truly diverse development team that executes a variety of complex real estate development matters including entitlements and public policy, detailed budgeting and proformas, architectural design coordination and construction oversight.

Before coming to Focus, Justin practiced as a commercial architect for The Redmond Company and his background in design and business mindset, inform his approach to all Focus’ pursuits. Justin and his team of development professional pride themselves on their ability to effectively manage tough approval process in markets with high barriers of entry. Their impeccable track record is evidence of their success in communities like Chicago, Lake Forest, Vernon Hills, Oak Park and more.

In addition to his efforts at Focus, Justin is also a board member of the Ely Chapter of Lambda Alpha International, a society dedicated to the advancement of land economics.
