A real estate specialist with more than 15 years of experience in both commercial and residential public relations, Kari joined Relevance International as an account manager. She was promoted to director in 2015, and to senior director of real estate in 2018. With a background in both agency and corporate public relations, Kari is responsible for the execution of all public relations practices including brand building and media relations. She and the team handle a wide range of luxury residential developments, brokerages, master planned projects and more. Notable current and past clients include global luxury auction firm Concierge Auctions, new development condominium project 111 Murray, the Green Bay Packers’ Titletown development, and Art Deco condominium conversion masterpieces Walker Tower and Stella Tower.
Prior to joining Relevance, Kari was vice president at Rubenstein Public Relations, where she worked with an array of industry leaders including J. Christopher Burch, co-founder of Tory Burch LLC. Kari is the former director of public relations at Massey Knakal Realty Services, a diversified, full-service property sales company now owned by Cushman & Wakefield, where she worked under the leadership of Chairman and Co-founder Robert Knakal. She was also an account executive at the boutique public relations firm in Houston, TX, and started her career as a newspaper reporter with The Journal News, a daily newspaper in the suburbs north of New York City.
Born and raised in Michigan, Kari earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from Michigan State University. She spent a summer abroad studying in Australia writing environmental journalism pieces for several publications throughout the country, and has happily traveled the world ever since.
